The WWF Soy Scorecard assesses the performance of 133 European companies on their use of responsible soy in the animal feed used to produce their meat, farmed fish, eggs, dairy and other animal products.

WWF defines responsible soy as soy sourced from companies certified to the Round Table on Responsible Soy (RTRS) or ProTerra schemes.
Companies have been assessed for actions taken in calendar year 2015, while the Scorecard was published in 2016.

Where is HKScan on the journey to responsible soy?

HKScan's subsidiary in Sweden is scored individually as it is a signatory to the Swedish Soy Dialogue. HKScan is also a member of the Finnish soy commitment. The members of the commitment pledge to ensure that by 2020 all the soy used in the production chain of their private label products will be responsibly produced, either RTRS- or ProTerra-certified soy. HKScan has exceeded the pledge and committed to 100% responsible soy by 2018.
